Hi everyone! My name is Collin Esquirol. I am a Native English speaker and live in Boston, Massachusetts. I love to teach and tutor, a passion that began when I worked with middle and high school students across a variety of different subject matters they felt they needed help with. My love for teaching stayed with me for many years and led me to pursue a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification. I obtained the certification from the TEFL Academy, which was based on 168 hours of course material. Since obtaining my certification, I have taught over 400 hours of English to students of all ages from around the world. My teaching philosophy is based on the idea that any subject, no matter how hard or difficult it may be, can be broken down into building blocks. My students and I work on mastering those building blocks to excel at the basics. This will put you in position to accomplish whatever your goals may be with English – whether it’s moving to a new country, preparing to study abroad, getting a hang of the language, or becoming more proficient in business English for your job.
